With over 15 years of experience in the aesthetic and medical industries, Hazel Brown has built a career defined by her passion for uniting science, education, and artistry in the field of skin health and cosmetic nursing.

Hazel’s professional journey took a pivotal turn in 2015 when she completed a Master of Nursing Science at the University of Western Australia (UWA), which inspired her transition into cosmetic practice. With a foundation in cardiology and dermatology, she brings a strong clinical background to her current work, where she focuses on precision, safety, and evidence-based care.

FUN FACT

Since 2017, Hazel has devoted herself to furthering her knowlege within the field of aesthetic nursing.

In 2018, she became a clinical trainer in aesthetics for several leading organisations, a role that allows her to share her knowledge and mentor emerging clinicians. Her work as an educator reflects her deep commitment to raising professional standards and fostering confidence in others through practical, ethical, and patient-centred training.

In 2020, Hazel further expanded her academic foundation by completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Clinical Nursing Practice, which deepened her understanding of complex clinical principles and enhanced her leadership capabilities.

Today, as Clinical Nurse Director at Youth Lab, Hazel continues to blend hands-on clinical practice with education and mentorship. She values the opportunity to guide both her team and her clients through their aesthetic journeys with empathy, professionalism, and integrity.

Hazel is inspired by the ever-evolving nature of the cosmetic and skin health industry. She remains committed to continual learning, keeping pace with new developments in techniques, safety, and clinical best practice.
