Fine Line and Wrinkles — Foundation and Advanced Combined

Our combined fine line and wrinkles foundation and advanced course is your first step towards a career in cosmetic medicine.

This all inclusive one day hands-on training will cover the basics of aesthetic medicine and dermatology, the science behind fine line and wrinkle treatment, plus theoretical and practical training in both basic and advanced treatments of the upper face, lower face and off-label indications for fine line and wrinkle treatment.

Following the course you will be able to apply for 10 hours of CPD points.

What to expect:

Prior to commencing this course, you will be provided with basic theoretical knowledge via our workbook. This pre-reading is essential prior to your practical training day. 

The full day of combined fine lines and wrinkles foundations and advanced will consist of small group sessions with our trainers, consisting of theory and practical sessions. Training in small groups ensures that your learning is personalised, optimising your experience. You will be able to practice on live models and perform all upper face, lower face and off-label indications for fine lines and wrinkles treatment.

Treatments will include hands-on administration to frown lines, forehead lines, crow’s feet, brow lifts, bunny lines, masseter/jawline, perioral lines, downturned smile, platysmal bands and hyperhidrosis.

We have a focus on hands-on training as well as observation. You will complete the course feeling confident to perform all treatments independently.

Lunch will be provided at our high end training facility.

Introduction to aesthetic medicine

The aesthetic consultation and consent process

Compliance and legal requirements 

Importance of clinical photography

Facial anatomy and indications for treatment

The science behind the most commonly used fine line and wrinkle brand.

Perform treatments for common upper face areas including frown, forehead, crow’s feet, brow lift and bunny lines

Perform treatments for common lower face areas including perioral lines, DAOs, mentalis, masseters and platysmal bands

Perform axillary hyperhidrosis treatments

Complication management

Aftercare and follow-up

1:1 mentorship with CNS Hazel

Youth Lab offers a one-on-one opportunity to tailor training days in a real clinic environment, adjusted to your level of expertise and experience.

Spend two days in clinic with CNS Hazel and the Youth Lab team, consulting and treating real cosmetic patients and observing first-hand how a busy and successful cosmetic clinic is run.

What to expect:

Prior to the mentorship, you will have the opportunity to have a meeting over coffee with CNS Hazel to discuss your goals, ambitions and training requirements. At this session, you will receive one-on-one guidance and support, which will help to empower you on your own journey in cosmetic medicine.

Bespoke packages can be arranged. Pricing is based on a two day mentorship (one day shadowing, one day practical).

This is a clinical mentorship focused on treating patients, any business advice will be general in nature.
