Clinical peels can be used to support the appearance and overall condition of the skin. They can assist in addressing concerns such as congestion, uneven texture, and visible effects of sun exposure, while helping to maintain optimal skin health and function.
Peels are also a wonderful complement to other skin treatments. Our team of Dermal Therapists can integrate clinical peels into broader treatment plans to create a personalised and comprehensive approach for each client.
Clinical peels gently exfoliate the superficial layers of the skin, allowing fresh skin cells to surface. This process helps improve overall texture and radiance.
Chemical peels, or Clinical Peels, may help reduce the visible appearance of common skin irregularities and maintain the health and balance of the skin when used regularly as part of a treatment plan. A course of customised peels can help support healthy skin renewal over time.
Common Reasons for Treatment
- Visible signs of ageing and sun exposure
- Congested or breakout-prone skin
- Uneven skin tone or texture
- Mild scarring
- Redness-prone skin
- Fine lines and surface irregularities
- General loss of radiance
We recommend preparing the skin prior to undergoing a course of clinical peels. During your consultation, your Dermal Therapist will explain a personalised pre-treatment plan. Skin preparation encourages even peel penetration and helps to reduce the likelihood of sensitivity.
Clinical Peel Application
Each treatment plan is tailored to the individual and may include different peel types or concentrations depending on the skin’s needs and response to previous treatments.
There are three main types of chemical peels, categorised by their depth of action: superficial, medium, and deep. Superficial and medium peels are most commonly performed by our Dermal Therapists, while deep peels are conducted by a qualified medical practitioner.
